Purpose
FORTEX sells a building system, not something you can photograph off a shelf: two reinforced-concrete shells around a continuous insulated core, tied through with composite connectors. The site has to explain that assembly to homeowners, architects and engineers at once, and make the first residence designed around it feel real.
Design decisions
- The wall as a model you can orbit, not a diagram. Visitors highlight shells, core, connectors or composite action, switch between assembled and cutaway, and pick markers on the model itself.
- A three-view visual study (the wall on site before the pour, the conceptual model, the architecture it serves) that ties the technical system to a built result.
- Bounded claims throughout: performance statements carry their conditions, and renders and conceptual sections are labeled as such rather than passed off as photographs.
Outcome
The site is live at fortexsystem.com and replaces the earlier fortexwalls.com. The interactive assembly viewer is now the centerpiece of how FORTEX explains the system, on desktop and on a phone.
